"Noah's Big SPLASH"

Part of the Princes Risborough Town Festival

     Princes Risborough Annual Town Festival’s theme of “SPLASH” gave us the great opportunity to join in the fun with a live presentation of the Bible’s account of “Noah’s Ark and the Big Splash”.

     A beautifully constructed ark, wrapped around our Church’s 19^th century pulpit, provided the ideal stage-set for a re-enactment of the flood and God’s saving of Noah’s family and all the animals. Members of the Church provided the cast of Noah and his family, whilst visiting children created their own face masks to become a wide range of animals, supplemented by a fine variety of cuddly toys.

     The age-old story came to life, telling the many visiting families of God’s love, Noah’s trust and obedience and the everlasting promise of God’s covenant to man, symbolised by the rainbow.
