Church Meeting

     All the major decisions in the life of the Church are made not by the Leadership but by the Church Members' Meeting that meets every two months. Attendance is good. Church members are all encouraged to attend and can vote on all important issues.

     The atmosphere in our Church Meetings is positive, lively and respectful of differing views. Quite often we split into a number of discussion groups during the evening.

     Important matters looked at include the ongoing work of Home Mission and Baptist Missionary Society World Mission, Finance and Fabric, including recent discussions about our Church Building Project.

     The Church Meeting is also the place for vision casting, through which we have discussed and agreed together our Mission Statement, Core Values and Aims and Goals.
