Churches Together in Risborough

in God's love and for God's glory.'

             
     All the local churches are represented in CTR. Apart from ourselves and 2 other Baptist Churches (Speen and Little Kimble), there are 3 Anglican (St. Mary's, St. Dunstan's and St. John's ), 1 Catholic (St. Teresa's), 1 Elim Pentecostal (Chilterns Christian Fellowship) and the Methodist Church.

     CTR is made up of clergy and representatives from each church in the town and the surrounding Risborough Area Community Action (RACA) area.  We organise joint services at Lent, Easter and Advent. We have a joint march of witness through the town on Good Friday. We support the Christian Aid service, Pentecost Funday and help to run the Lighthouse Holiday Club.

     On behalf of CTR, Church Ministers, including our own, have distributed the Scripture Union book "It's Your Move!" to all children about to leave Primary School for Secondary or Grammar School. This book, attractively designed and packed with relevant information about a child's next school move - yet written from a Christian perspective - was very well received by pupils and teachers alike.
